Cleverquill.com is based in beautiful Santa Cruz County, California where the redwood forest meets the spectacular Monterey Bay.  Many of our products are inspired by our beautiful natural setting and the diverse personalities of our friends and family.  Our goal is to create contemporary, high quality personalized stationery, announcements, invitations and other products that reflect the unique personalities and style of our clients. Cleverquill.com was born from the creative drive of its designer Sharmaine Cheleden.  Since childhood, Sharmaine has enjoyed experimenting with color, shape and design and always loved paper products.  Combining these two interests, Sharmaine began creating invitations, birth announcements and note card sets for her friends and family.  Sharmaine's designs reflect her own contemporary design sense and incorporate color and graphical elements reflecting her love of nature and her diverse ethnic background. Initially, Sharmaine's products were solely for her own use as a working mother of young children.  After many friends and family members started asking her to create customized stationery products for their own special occasions, Sharmaine decided to offer her line for sale to the public.  Positive word of mouth led to additional clients on a referral basis.  Cleverquill.com's on-line store launch marks the culmination of the last several years of Sharmaine's work.  Cleverquill.com's business has grown organically in a very natural way and we believe our products reflect such an orientation.  We hope you enjoy our products and look forward to working with you!
